The art of great cinema is about recreating a dream that feels real.  That is what we tried to do with Miraculum.

 

As a young student of cinema I often found fascination with the fresh energy of french new wave and the outrageous ideas put forth in Surrealist cinema.  When I set forth to make MIRACULUM, a short film starring my nephews, I knew it had to be great

 

Created orginally as an entry into the 2013 Flatt Prize for Short and Experimental Film contest.  All entries had to be under 2 minutes (not including end credits), inspired by the word WONDER, and represent a JOURNEY of some kind. 

 

In the end I am very proud of the film and quite blown away by the piece in the end.
